The skies darken as you become a storm chaser, tracking powerful storms across the land. Develop a project that simulates or visualizes different types of storms. Challenge

The skies darken as you become a storm chaser, tracking powerful storms across the land. Develop a project that simulates or visualizes different types of storms. Use real-time weather data APIs to bring your project to life, showing the formation, movement, and effects of these natural giants. Capture the awe and intensity of the stormy skies.

Submission Format

Ensure your submission meets the following criteria based on your discipline:

  • A public link to your project.
  • A screenshot of your project.
  • A brief description (150-200 words) explaining your project's concept and how it embodies the theme. Make sure to mention the technologies you used and any notable features or challenges you encountered during the development.

Software Engineering: You may use any web technologies or programming languages you are comfortable with, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java, or any frameworks you prefer.

Data & AI: You may use any tools or software you are comfortable with, such as D3.js, Tableau, Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn), R (ggplot2), or any other data visualization libraries and frameworks.

Product Design: You may use any tools or software you are comfortable with, such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or any other design tools and platforms.

Game Development & Design: You may use any tools or software you prefer, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, or any other game development platforms and frameworks.

Visual Arts: You may use any tools or software you prefer, such as Adobe software, Toon Boom, or any other platform to create concept art, 2D animation, 3D animation, or a similar format.

Submission Guidelines

  • How to Submit:
    • Complete our Contest Entry Form to submit your project.
    • Ensure your project includes the required screenshot and description as specified above.

Judging Criteria

Your submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Creativity: Originality and inventiveness in simulating or visualizing storms.
  • Relevance to Theme: How well the project aligns with the concept of storms.
  • Clarity of Concept: Effectiveness in communicating the idea and purpose of the project.
