Position Overview:

The API Support Specialist will be responsible for managing our public API support tickets, assisting customers in utilizing it effectively, and ensuring that all related documentation is current and comprehensive. This role involves direct interaction with customers, certification of new integrations, and collaboration with the development team to maintain API standards and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support:Respond to customer inquiries and provide guidance on using the API effectively.
  • Assist new customers in the certification process for custom-built applications and web interfaces utilizing our API.
  • Documentation Management:Ensure all customer-facing documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable.
  • Collaborate with developers to create and improve API documentation.
  • API Management:Oversee the implementation and integration of the API, ensuring it meets customer needs and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the development team to address any issues and ensure the API is robust and reliable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a customer support role, particularly within a technical environment.
  • Experience with Ruby is desirable.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies and protocols.
