What you can expect as a Cyber Analyst at Fortress… 

As a Cyber Analyst you can expect to engage in a multifaceted position that is central to safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of the organization's digital assets. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of contributing to various aspects of cybersecurity, from strategic planning and risk assessment. It calls for technical expertise, strategic thinking, and an ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities Include: 

• Formulate, develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. 
• Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products. 
• Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. 
• Knowledge with developing, modifying, enhancing, and sustaining new or existing computer applications and software programs following software assurance best practices throughout the software lifecycle. 
• Knowledge of security implications and application of methodologies within centralized and decentralized environments across the enterprise's computer systems in software development. 
• Knowledge of security controls used during the requirements phase to integrate security within the process, to identify key security objectives, and to maximize software security while minimizing disruption to plans and schedules. 
• Ability to asses level of risk and develops and/or recommends appropriate mitigation countermeasures in operational and non-operational situations. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of proven experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently in a technology or cybersecurity client-facing role.  
• Understanding of Navy systems and a track record of developing cybersecurity solutions in compliance with stringent protocols.  
• Understanding of Data Analysis.
• MS Office Suite (Intermediate Excel).
• Active TOP SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED.

Preferred Skills:

• Security+
• Operating System certification (Linux, Windows, etc) 
• Cloud cert (AWS, Azure, etc)
• Or ability to obtain within 3 months

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited University in Computer Engineering, CIS, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
