Today, when you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor’s handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLLM™ (7B—trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust integrations between Tennr’s systems and external healthcare system partners, ensuring seamless data flow and communication.
• Lead the development and maintenance of APIs, web services, and other integration points that support our machine learning and automation efforts.
• Optimize and scale our integration frameworks to handle increasing volumes of data and transactions.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions that meet business needs.
• Take ownership of integration projects from conception to deployment, maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on system integrations and API development.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and data pipeline architectures.
• Strong understanding of data formats like JSON, XML, and the ability to work with various data transfer protocols.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems is a plus.
• Experience integrating machine learning models into production workflows is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on creating efficient and scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex integration challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-driven attitude with a founder’s mindset, ready to contribute to Tennr’s rapid growth.
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment is highly desirable.
