TOOLS PROGRAMMER INTERN

What You'll Do

Game developers and content creators of all experience levels use UEFN to build amazing entertainment experiences hosted right inside Fortnite. Our UEFN Editor Team Intern will help us build, debug, and test features to make UEFN even more amazing. We are constantly working to make UEFN faster, support more features from Unreal Engine, and working to give our internal and external teams even more power to build great experiences in UEFN. We do a little bit of everything on the team, and working on UEFN means working with Unreal Engine, Unreal Editor, the Fortnite Editor, our Online Services team, our Creator Portal team, and more.

In this role, you will

  • Help implement features for UEFN that will be deployed to live users
  • Help debug issues in UEFN
  • Work on integrating features from Unreal Engine with our UEFN infrastructure to help us support internal and external projects in UEFN

What we're looking for

  • C++ skills
  • A love for debugging and problem-solving
  • Flexibility to change tasks rapidly
  • Experience with Unreal is a plus

This internship has a flexible start date in 2025. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
